We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God as written and is profitable for reproof and growth of every Christian. Furthermore, we affirm that no congregation has the authority to change or alter the pure doctrine set forth by the Holy Spirit in any form. Therefore, the role of the church is to make disciples as commanded by our Saviour in the Great Commission.
We also believe the Bible clearly articulates the creation and fall of man. Though man was created in God’s image, he (man) by his own choice disobeyed God and was expelled from God’s presence and the Garden of Eden.
Man’s only hope is through the person of God’s son, Jesus Christ, the world’s only redeemer, and through the power of the Holy Spirit to keep him from falling again. We affirm that through Christ‘s virgin birth He is pure, and conceived by the Holy Spirit.
He came to deliver mankind from sin and eternal damnation, was crucified and died on the cross, and arose on the third day victorious over sin and death. Christ is now our resurrection and hope of eternal life in the world to come. A "World Without End"
The Holy Spirit is active today in the role of the Living Church convicting sinful men, cleansing the humble through sanctification, baptizing through death and the resurrection experience and endowing the hungry through the baptism of the Holy Ghost and power. The Holy Spirit’s presence is made known through the evidence of speaking in tongues and His power through the operation of the gifts in the church and individuals lives.
We conclude that the power of the church today is affirmed through the nine gifts of the Spirit working effectually to bless all of mankind because of the Body of Christ.
