"TEAM" - Ladies Ministry
Together Everyone More Souls

We Ladies here at New Millennium offer a wide variety of avenues in ministering Peace to others. Women in the place of worship allow God to move in ways unlike any other — we feel that we are an extension of His hand. Ministering tenderly through calls, cards and visits. But that is not the extent of our ministry...

We have our own fundraisers to be able to purchase much needed items for the church facilities, things such as refrigerators, stoves, cookware, tables, as well as a number of other items. But the ladies ministry of New Millennium also reaches out to others in ways of preparing dinners for families that have lost a loved one, sending flowers to the sick, preparing food baskets for the needy during the holidays, tending to the churches food pantry. And the list could go on and on, for as they have always said, “A woman’s job is never done.”

There have been those women that we have ministered to with low self -esteem, financial problems, feelings of discouragement, or just needing a change of pace. So many times we tend to put a dollar value on help, when really all some people need is to be encouraged and lifted up before our Lord — Jesus Christ.

Are you a handmaiden of God? Are you looking for a church family where you will be accepted for who you are? Do you have ideas rushing around inside of you but nowhere to put them to good use? Then won’t you come visit us at one of our monthly meetings? You may contact us via this website or by calling the church at 727-7952. Our prayer is that you as woman of God, will be accepted and used for His kingdom. Amen.

The Ladies of New Millennium

It is our belief that you cannot out give God!

The heartbeat of our people is to give to others as God freely and abundantly gives to us. We all know the scriptures say, "The greatest of these is love..." “. . .and without love you have nothing." And this is true to the very word, you have nothing.

Sometimes the love we need to possess and give out to others comes in the form of hard work and sweat, as well as material things and finances. For as long as we are in these physical bodies, we are going to be in need of physical things.

So often when people think of missions they think of overseas, or in some foreign country. But as we all have heard — "Charity begins at home." And home is where we are working our hardest — although we do support missionary work overseas as well.

We are faithful supporters of an active mission overseas through a wonderful couple, Pastor Robert and Pamela Skelton. And we also support the God Chasers Network through Tommy Tenny. But the bulk of our work and giving is right here in St. Albans and the surrounding area. Many times our congregation has given in such abundance, without ever noticing the amount of time, effort or finances that it is even a surprise to them - when they step back and take a look at the deed that has been accomplished.

It is our goal to take this immeasurable gift that God has given to us as Christians, out to this hurting and dieing world. Not just to the lost sinner, but we desire to take "The Gospel" to the hurting and hungry children of God as well.

Are you actively involved in helping those that are around you? Would you like to become involved in a church family that is concerned for those that are hurting and hungry? We would love to have you help us in our endeavor to reach those that feel unreachable.

Please feel free to contact us if you have that burning desire inside that just will not go away with the customary dollar in the offering plate every Sunday. As suggested earlier, there is more to missions than finances.
